Wells Fargo Fake Mortgage Documents

A New York homeowner fighting foreclosure obtained a 150-page Wells Fargo manual that appears to provide detailed instructions for creation of “on demand” documents to plug holes in mortgage paper trails. Such documents are called “Ta-Da” documents in the trade.  As in, “Ta Da!  Here’s the bunny pulled out of the hat!”  Mysteriously, documents seem to appear as if by magic if a homeowner disputes WF’s right to foreclose.  On the other hand, those same documents are routinely missing from the original foreclosure paperwork. Sloppy foreclosure lawyers, or documents never existed to start with. What do you think?

Missing endorsements?  Assignments into trusts never executed?  Not a problem–Wells Fargo has an app for that.
